记者查询1996年和2024年的日历发现，这两年的公历日期分布完全相同，但农历并不相同。
如2024年的春节是2月10日，而1996年的春节是2月19日。

2024年还有些特别
另值得注意的是，2024年的独特之处不仅仅是公历日历与1996年相同，而且还拥有着“近几年最后一个年三十”。

“这是很常见的现象”，中科院紫金山天文台科普主管王科超介绍，“‘消失’的年三十与传统农历中的‘大小月’设置有关。平均66个农历月里有31个小月、35个大月，农历十二月可能是小月，只有29天，腊月没有30日，就是没有‘大年三十’的情况。”
据悉，农历龙年的除夕为2024年2月9日大年三十，而 受“朔望月周期”的影响，从2025年开始直到2029年，连续五年的除夕，都是“大年二十九”。
为了调节农历12个朔望月与阳历一个回归年的时差，我国古人采用设置“闰月”的方法。现行农历“置闰”方法是“十九年七闰”，即每隔2到3年增加1个月，增加的这个月叫“闰月”。
